We consider it the greatest privilege and honor to care for your little ones while you worship at Great Hills Baptist Church. Not only do we take responsibility for coming along side you in nurturing those first Biblical seeds, we take our role as caretakers of your children very seriously. Our nursery and preschool facilities are clean and safe, and our workers are loving and well trained. Come worship with us! Your children will be well taken care of!

O'Chester Learning Center
Welcome to the O’Chester Learning Center, where all children are cherished and loved for the unique individuals God created them to be. At O’Chester Learning Center we are committed to daily convey and teach God’s love in all activities and to lay a biblical foundation for Christian living within the heart of every child who walks into our classrooms.
Our program offers an early childhood setting which will be homelike, offering comfort, security, support and affirmation. Our teachers in all age levels exhibit a genuine and caring attitude for young children. Through their actions and words they show kindness, respect, and an appreciation of each child. You will find them giving frequent hugs and much praise and encouragement to each child.
Your family attitudes have a far-reaching effect on the education of your young child. For this reason, our teachers consider you, as the parent, a part of our educational team. Parents are always welcome to help and be involved in whatever capacity they wish. Whether it be bringing a snack or helping on a fun day—we have a place for you!
Each month we have “Fun Day” celebrations and on-campus activities that parents are encouraged to attend and participate in. Biblical teaching will convey God’s love daily to your child in all that we do. We will share with your child the wonders of God’s world as we teach them through hands-on learning.
Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday. We offer extracurricular activities such as Chapel, Music, Spanish, Sign Language and PE. Each of these classes has a special trained teacher. If you are looking for a loving, caring atmosphere, we would consider it a privilege to teach your children about God’s world and His love.
O’Chester Learning Center is a 9-month program from September thru May. Please contact our OLC Director, Teresa Smith at email@example.com to schedule an appointment.
Parent Child Dedication
We believe that every child is a gift straight from the Lord. But with this gift comes a great responsibility and challenge that requires parents to have complete and full dependence on the Lord day by day.
At regular intervals throughout the year our pastor and church congregation acknowledges this great commission through Parent/Child Dedication.
When parents decide to take part in the dedication, they are acknowledging their need for God’s wisdom, guidance, and strength in parenting their child. During the Sunday morning Worship Service, parents bring their child before the church to pray with the pastor and church body about the responsibility of rearing their children according to God’s precepts. In turn, the congregation supports the parent’s wish to raise their children as God desires by promising to pray for these families.
Once you register your child, please remember to email one photo of the child (or children) who are being dedicated and one photo of the entire family (color, professional-type photographs) to Teresa Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org

Our children are cared of in the MOPPETS program which provides a safe and loving environment while we fellowship.
MOPS meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (September-May) from 9:00-11:30 AM, in room C244. Cost is $50 per semester, with childcare provided for birth – 4 years old.
