This Week @ Great Hills

April 1, 2016

Greetings, church family!  I am writing today since Pastor Danny is in South Asia serving our UUPG.  I have received several updates from him indicating the week is going very well.  Danny, Mike Mericle and Ken Farmer are doing well and are enjoying teaching pastors and church leaders about discipleship and local church ministry.  They will teach for another day and then hit the road traveling in the area to meet and share with more of our people.  Please join me in praying for them until they return home safely next week.  Also continue to pray for the work in South Asia.  God is moving!

Easter Sunday was incredible!  The helicopter egg-drop was exciting and proved successful in bringing many families to our church campus.  I want to thank our staff team for planning and executing a very well-scripted morning.  I also want to thank you, church family, for your support and for serving our guests in one of the many jobs of the morning.  It took a small army to make it all happen.  You did an amazing job, whether you were outside with the egg-drop or inside preparing and serving breakfast.  Thank you!  We pray that many seeds were planted on Easter that God will water and use in the lives of our guests.

I want to remind you to get involved in The Art of Neighboring.  Our church has joined 300 Austin churches who are partnering together in Love Where You Live.  It is a great opportunity to love your neighbors and serve your community.  You can sign up or find more information about it in the ministry mall.

I look forward to seeing you for Connect Groups and worship on Sunday.  Dr. Brent Crowe will be preaching in Pastor Danny’s absence.  Brent will be teaching our students this weekend during Disciple Now.  Please be praying for him and the leadership team as they work with our students.

Blessings to you, church family, as you live your life as part of the Radiant Church!
