Tonight at 6:00 we will have a special Good Friday service. This is going to be a time of praise, reflection, observing the Lord’s Supper, and focusing on the greatest act of love ever demonstrated—the death of Jesus Christ for the sins of the world. Invite someone to join you as we celebrate Jesus and His love for us.
Pray for Ashley and me as we will knock on every door of the 55 homes in our neighborhood in Canyon Creek called the Villas. We will give each neighbor a nice brochure inviting them to our Easter Celebration and also a $5.00 gift card to Starbucks. We love our neighbors and want them to know Jesus and have eternal life with Him.
Sunday will be an incredible day at GHBC. We will baptize about a dozen people, sing songs of praise to the resurrected Christ, preach His Word, and invite people to give their lives to Christ. There will be no Bible Life classes, so come a little early and prepare your heart to meet the Lord in worship. It is going to be a fantastic day. The message for Sunday is from Psalm 21:6 and is entitled “How to Live a Blessed Life.” I have preached this sermon to my family for 20 years, but have never written it out and preached it in a church—until now. I am really looking forward to sharing three principles guaranteed to help you live a most blessed life. Would you stop and pray right now for God to move upon your heart and touch you, bless you, and change you as you listen to the Word of God preached on Sunday?
I know the tomb is empty because my heart is so full of Jesus!
See you tonight at 6:00 and Sunday morning at 11:00.
