Greetings, church family, from Arequipa, Peru. Leighton and I are part of a team serving on mission this week and we are grateful to God for using us here. I am preaching to pastors and wives, while Leighton works with orphans. Another team is serving the people through medical treatment. We are here with Finny Matthews, the president of AIM, one of our GHBC mission partners.
I am grateful to God for the work He is doing in our church. He continues to grow us deep in His Word, while simultaneously bringing new people to worship and serve with us. Thank you for how you are praying, promoting unity, and reaching out to invite others to join you for Bible study and worship. On Sunday we will continue our series of messages on Joseph with a sermon entitled “Changed Lives.” The text is Genesis 44.
This week our new audio and video equipment was delivered. Our worship and media staff, along with several volunteers, has worked tirelessly getting ready for the new installation of this equipment. It will take a couple of weeks to get it up and running, but you will be blessed when you hear and see the results! Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to our Building Vision campaign. We are able to pay cash for all the new worship center equipment, the new flooring in the Great Hall and ministry mall, relocating our library, and building a coffee shop because of your giving. Thank you!
Again, thank you for being a radiant church committed to worshipping Jesus daily, growing in your walk with Him, and helping accomplish the Great Commission. Let us continue to pray, care, share, and celebrate together.
See you Sunday.
