Thank you for your love for our Lord and our church family. God continues to work in and through GHBC and it is a blessing to behold. Last Sunday’s Mission Service was amazing. What a joy to hear the testimonies of so many of our people who have served Christ locally and around the world. We began receiving our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and have already received over $13,000 toward our church goal of $100,000. Let us all give generously to this wonderful opportunity to support our 4,200 missionaries all over the world.
Wednesday night was a trying and difficult night and I thank you for all your prayers and support during the aftermath of my wreck. I was turning northbound on Jollyville after leaving the church around 6:30pm. It was dark and rainy. I saw a city bus turn left in front of me going southbound, and when I made my turn, the next thing I remember was OnStar telling me they were calling 911. A lady hit me going westbound and we both were taken to the hospital. Last I heard she is ok and I’m so grateful. I am doing ok— just sore and still a little shaken. I appreciate Mike Heard coming to the accident and staying with me through it all and also our amazing church staff and others who came to the ER to check on me and pray for me. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me.
My plan is to be in church Sunday and preach Revelation 9:13-21. I am excited about this message. I also look forward to preaching a Christmas message from Matthew 2 on December 21. Pastor O’Chester will preach on December 28. I encourage you to keep reaching out and inviting others to join you in church. We will have a wonderful Christmas candlelight service December 24 at 5:00pm.
So many good things happening in our church. Thank You, Jesus, for my church family which I love so very much.
