We will continue our study in the Book of Revelation on Sunday as I preach on chapter 11:3-14, the account of the two witnesses. One of the encouraging messages we receive from these two men and their faithfulness to God is that when we are walking with the Lord we are invincible until He completes His purpose in us. As the gospel song says it: “When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, what a glory He sheds on our way. While we do His good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey.”
church@greathillls, our new member class, will meet this Sunday following the morning worship service. We have about 20 people signed up to take the class. If you know someone interested in becoming a member of GHBC, please encourage them to attend this class which also includes a light lunch. Following my teaching time, every person who attends will have a Great Hills member sit down with them and listen to their testimony. It is a powerful time, and God always blesses this class as we seek to focus on regenerate church membership.
We will have a special day in the Lord on Sunday, February 15. Not only will we observe the Lord’s Supper, but we will also have the opportunity to hear the testimony of the man we believe God is leading us to call as our new Young Adult Pastor.
Last Sunday it was a blessing to be able to teach our Bible Life classes on how to share a personal testimony. Please take advantage of the opportunities God gives you each week to tell others what your life was like before you met Christ, how Jesus has changed your life, and what He is doing in your life today. People are very open to talking about the Lord. Brag on Jesus and invite folks to join you for worship on Sundays at GHBC.
Have a blessed weekend. See you Sunday, as the Lord wills.
