This Sunday, we will hand out business cards and door hangers for you to use to invite everyone you meet to participate with us on this weekend. There will be many radio advertisements as well. I am preaching a message on Easter Sunday entitled “The God of the Impossible.” Please join me in praying and inviting others to join us.
Thank you for your faithfulness to Christ and to our church. So many of you pray, serve, and give, and because of you we are able to function as a church family. God is drawing more and more single adults and families (people of all ages) to our church family, and I am grateful to Him for how He is working. We are coming through some days of transition and change for sure. Having served as the pastor of GHBC for almost five years, I have seen much happen. Let me thank you again for hanging in there and being strong, and also being an example of a persevering Christ-follower who sticks it out when times are tough. Thank you for not leaving us in times of plowing, toiling, and laboring for the sake of the gospel. The harvest is beginning and will only increase by the good hand of God upon us. Exciting days. What a blessed time to be a part of GHBC.
Please mark your calendars for our bi-annual Global Impact Celebration April 8-12. Please join me in praying for God to work powerfully in and through our church’s local, national, and international mission endeavors. If you have not already done so, please pick up the Global Impact Celebration Prayer Guide entitled “One Sacred Effort.” It is an excellent booklet that will assist you in praying specifically and accurately for what is on the heart of God—and that is the salvation of the world!
This Sunday, March 22, I am preaching a message entitled “The Beast from the Sea” from Revelation 13:1-10. I am addressing the topic of the coming Antichrist. Would you pause for a moment from reading this newsletter article and say a prayer for me as I study and preach this message? Satan hates our church, but he cannot withstand the power of Jesus unleashed on us when God’s people pray. Thank you sincerely for praying for GHBC.
Until He Comes,
