This Week @ Great Hills

March 7, 2014

What a fantastic Sunday we had on March 2 with our ALL IN emphasis. We had great attendance, people were saved, others came forward to unite with our church family, and everyone enjoyed the lunch and fellowship afterward.  Some of our Bible Life classes were overflowing with people.  Congratulations to Tom Collier, director of the Work in Progress class which won the competition. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make this an outstanding day for GHBC!

I am looking forward to beginning our study on the seven churches in Asia Minor described in Revelation 2-3.  This Sunday we will look at the church at Ephesus in Revelation 2:1-7.  Take some time to read over this text and pray for our worship service on Sunday.

Don’t forget to “Spring Forward” on Saturday night for Daylight Saving Time.  We will lose an hour of sleep, but that means more daylight in the evenings.

Sunday is the last day to make a contribution to The Bucket Project.  Our goal is to send 250 of these buckets to HIV AIDS patients in Sub-Sahara Africa.  Please consider making a donation to help us in this worthy cause.  Thanks to Kurt Summers and all his hard work in coordinating this ministry.

Due to Spring Break next week, all our Wednesday evening activities are cancelled.  However, we will still meet bright and early on Thursday morning at 6:45 for our Systematic Theology study.  God continues to bless this study.  Many of our people and guests continue to come, and many others watch online as it is live-streamed.

Have a blessed weekend and I’ll see you Sunday!
