This Week @ Great Hills

November 4, 2016

God has given me a message for our church and I look forward to preaching it on the Lord’s Day as we continue our CROSSFIT series. Our text is Romans 12:3-13, and the title of the sermon is “Find Your Place.” God loves our church and He has placed each person here to be blessed and also to be a blessing. Pray for me as I preach what God has put on my heart for our people.
We have completed our CROSSFIT tract and it is being printed. We soon will have 500 copies for you to share with those who do not know Jesus. Please be on the lookout for these gospel tracts and be praying now that God would lead you to the people He wants you to share with.
Have you heard that there is an election on November 8? Yes, I am sure you have!   For over a year our nation has been inundated with news of this historic election. I have spoken on this topic in my podcast entitled “God and Politics.” You can find this message on I-tunes or on my website. A better message on the topic was delivered on October 23 by Pastor Tommie Nelson; you can find his sermon on You Tube.   We are going to have an hour of prayer for our nation and for our church on Monday night, November 7, at 7:00pm in the choir room. I invite you to come pray with us and then go vote on November 8. Many of you, like me, have already voted. Good for you.
There are so many neat things God is doing in and through our radiant church. People are being saved and discipled. God is growing His church and it is a blessing to be part of such a great church.
Don’t forget the Family Day on Saturday at Crowe’s Nest Farm from 10:00am until 2:00pm. This will be a fun time, especially for families with small children. They will have a great time. Thank you to Dave and Lola Williams for inviting our church to come. Please take a moment to look over the announcements below to see what else is going on. Also, please keep praying for the Southern Baptists of Texas Bible Conference and Annual Meeting November 13-15. It will be a phenomenal three days.
I love you, church family, and am praying even now for God’s blessings on you.
